Hearts Tournament App Reviews

I have only played the single player but immediately noticed a couple features missing that were included decades ago in the free Hearts version that came with Windows. They are small exclusions but their absence still annoys me. When you receive the three cards from an opponent before the hand starts, it VERY briefly flashes what they as they are jammed into your hand instead of highlighting them until you make your first play. Also, the score totals shown at the end of a hand are not displayed as you would record it on a paper pad yourself - showing all the point totals of the previous hands for all players. Instead it just shows all the players current score total and what they received in the last hand. I enjoy seeing how the point totals have progressed throughout the game ex. how many hands player X has gone without getting nailed with points.

This game is enjoyable

I really enjoy this game and play it often. One of those games you can pick up where you left off after being interrupted.

Great graphics. Would have given it a 5 star if it would have live online game. Tired of spending days playing one game. Since iOS 10 update I cannot connect to Game Center.

The December 19th update was a disaster and ruined the competitive aspects of the game. As near as I can discern, NOTHING improved and all else worsened. Lost rankings, points not tallying in Game Center, goofy individual game score keeping, lost games in progress, losses on games abruptly terminated, 15 days per turn for over two years per online game, blindingly fast card play that makes tracking cards impossible, Duh.....hhhh... Want more? Every time I touch this game it does something new completely screwy. The game creators claimed in a subsequent release that known issues web were resolved. What a shameful lie. Trivial (how accurate) Technologies - criminally incompetent execution. Touted as Number 1 - must be from before because it isnt true now. Serious competitors despise this game.

Fun to play, but predictable. On the Hard play, I have won 36 of 45. The hard is easier than Medium. Noted programming errors in Medium where the computer player catches the Queen of Spades while holding other smaller spades and was no possibility of shooting the moon. While trying to rate, all comments are reset if you happen to pick a previously used name or title. Also noted possible mis-applied hand points and the hand could not be reviewed. But, in total, one of the best heart apps. Attained rank of 27. The app gives you no indication of rank meaning.

Tried to play with a friend and game was very slow to load during the hands. Would have to hit menu multiple times to get game to continue. Will not recommend this game until this bug is fixed. If not you need to refund my money.

This would be a great game if it didnt feel the need to stack the deck against the player. I am always dealt at least 4-5 clubs at the start and it seems like I always get the 2 of clubs from one of the computer players on the pass. The one thing that happens the most is that the computer seems to always divide the 2, the 3, and 4 of hearts among the other players so that I always pick them up because I dont get the smaller numbers its so predictable that it drives me crazy. This needs to be fixed and yea I also lost my rating of 18 when I had to reset my IPad Im back to 7 now. what a pain.

I see from reading the reviews that there is a list of ratings? News to me. The app needs at least a replay button for a just played hand. You may be playing many games each of which could take a few hours to a few weeks to play. It is impossible to keep track of each hand to know sometimes if your shooting for it or trying to avoid hearts. All card games using timed turns present the same problem. The better ones let you review the just played hand. The speed of the game is too fast. If you are distracted for a second and you missed a play there is no way to see what was played. A good game if the problems can be worked out. Just too many faults to rank it any higher.

This is a great game if you enjoy playing Hearts. Its the only computer version Ive seen that has the option of a score of negative ten for winning the jack of diamonds. This is in addition to scoring 13 for the queen of spades. It makes it a much more intersting game.

Used to like this game even though it took awhile to load, but now....game says I forfeit & I lose ALL my points! The game breaks up hearts unevenly! Just waiting for another interactive hearts game to come along so I can delete this one! Sounds like developers are doing nothing re ongoing problems!

It was probably not the best way to learn hearts, but I am having tons of fun doing so. Addicting.

I like the ability to play at different levels... Wish I could play against other people...maybe I havent figured that out yet!

I like this Hearts program for a several of reason.. shows the cards when hand is over, highlights the cards that can be played, very fast and looks great on the screen.
